KALANISI 3 YEAR OLD TOPS DONCASTER STORE SALE
A Three year old son of Kalanisi realised £100,000
and topped the first premier store sale of the year at Doncaster
on Thursday (16 May). Purchased by Anthony Bromley of Highflyer
Bloodstock on behalf of Paul Nicholls, this impressive looking son
of Erintante was picked out by many judges as the stand out lot
of the day and he didnt disappoint.
Speaking to the Racing Post,
Bromley said "I am really thrilled to buy this horse,
he literally had everything - scope, quality, movement and the pedigree
to back all that up. He was by far the most outstanding horse in
the sale. Bred by Kenilworth House Stud in Co. Tipperary,
this gelding was sold as a foal for €25,000 and provided Abbeylands
Farm with a great pinhooking result.
It is a great start to the
sales season for Kalanisi who has 15 lots catalogued in Day 1 of
the Goffs Land Rover Sale, 7 in Day 2 and a further 10 lots catalogued
in the Tattersalls Derby Sale.
