1st Crop 4yo Point Point to Winner for Kalanisi
Multiple Grade 1 sire Kalanisi, sired a 4 year old
maiden Point to Point winner from his first National Hunt Crop at
Loughanmore on Easter Monday.
The Warren Ewing owned and trained Davy Doubt
scored by 3 lengths, 5 lengths and 25 lengths from representatives
in the colours of formidable point to point owners Wilson Dennison,
Gigginstown House Stud and Ronnie Bartlett.
Bred by Boardsmill Stud, Davy Doubt is a son of Trompe
LOeil who was placed on the flat as a two year old.
From his first four point to point runners from his
first national hunt crop, Kalanisi has now sired a winner and two
seconds. As well as Davy Doubt, he also sired the eyecatching Monksgrange
runner-up Mister Kalanisi on Easter Sunday. The Donnchadh
Doyle trained gelding finished a length second to the Colin Bowe
trained Desoto County. He has also sired another runner up in the
shape of the John Paul Brennan Skip A Beat Kid, runner up
at Lingstown to the impressive Wrath Of Titans.
On the racecourse, his first NH runners are also impressing. Again,
from his first four bumper runners, he has sired a winner and two
